These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the globalappraisal.net website and the SMS / text-message service operated by Global Appraisal LLC ("we," "us"). By submitting the SMS consent form or otherwise using this site, you agree to these Terms.
Global Appraisal LLC is a North Carolina limited liability company providing real estate appraisal services. Edwin Farr, MAI, MS-RECM, is the principal and a North Carolina Certified General Real Estate Appraiser.
Global Appraisal sends transactional text messages from (984) 360-8050 for the sole purpose of scheduling, confirming, reminding about, and coordinating real estate appraisal inspections.
You consent to receive SMS messages from Global Appraisal LLC by completing the consent form on globalappraisal.net. You represent that the mobile number you submit is your own (or that you have authority to consent on behalf of the number's owner) and that you are at least 18 years of age.

Global Appraisal obtains mobile numbers for the SMS service only through the consent form completed by the number's owner on globalappraisal.net. We do not import phone numbers from lenders, appraisal management companies (AMCs), real estate agents, or other third parties for the purpose of sending SMS messages.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Available on participating carriers. Carrier rates may apply.
The SMS service is for appointment coordination only. Appraisal engagement, scope of work, and reporting are governed by the written engagement letter for each assignment and by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
You agree not to use the SMS service or website to send unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or fraudulent communications, and not to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
The website and SMS service are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Global Appraisal disclaims all implied warranties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Global Appraisal LLC and its principal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the website or SMS service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in Alamance County, North Carolina.
If we update these Terms, the new "Effective" date at the top of this page will reflect the change. Continued use of the site or SMS service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
